After 20 years working in information technology and earning an MBA in IT Strategic Management, I left my role as a technology executive to fully devote myself to my true passion fine art, specifically oil painting. I began my artistic training in São Paulo, Brazil, where I studied for two years at Pleinair Studio. I later continued my studies through a Certificate Program at The Art Students League of New York, one of the most influential art schools in the United States, where artists such as Norman Rockwell, Jackson Pollock, and Mark Rothko studied or taught.
Today, my work focuses on oil portraiture of both people and animals, exploring character, presence, and diversity through a realistic approach with an impressionistic sensibility, grounded in classical methods and including work from life.
Over the years, I have completed more than 400 commissioned works for collectors around the world. My paintings are held primarily in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, and Canada, as well as in Japan, Switzerland, Brazil, Hong Kong, Mexico, Monaco, Spain, Iceland, Poland, and the Netherlands.
Alongside my studio practice, I am also an educator. More than 3000 students worldwide have enrolled in my online courses, where I share a structured, method-driven approach to oil painting, grounded in classical principles and refined through years of practice.
